I bring quite a unique background to my work as a real estate professional. I studied in China and Canada, and I ultimately earned a doctorate in biology. I’d later become the co-founder and CEO of a biology company that would receive investment from SoftBank. After the company was acquired by a large public corporation, I moved to the United States. Around 2018, it was here that I found and grew my interest in real estate investing.
As an entrepreneur, I don’t view real estate as a passive business opportunity, and I’ve always seen many possibilities for growth in the market. With those possibilities in mind, I decided to start my own real estate company. Within three years, I grew our firm from two people to over 50 people worldwide. We have a full-stack, in-house team for design, buying, selling, construction, taxes, and compliance.
I have a keen talent for analyzing investment opportunities. That ability has allowed our equity in the Bay Area to double over two years. Our investment expansion to other markets has also been successful, and we’ve achieved an increase of over 50% in half a year.
